Exclusive Interview with a Grassroots Community Program


Today we met up with an educator at a grassroots community education program to talk all about healthy eating and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.


Some of the key takeaway point to everyone looking be a healthier and happier person are to:

  • Reduce our sugar intake
  • Reduce salt intake
  • Reduce alcohol intake (no more then two standard drinks per day)
  • Find 30 minutes of physical activity per day
  • Eating foods high in fibre
  • Eating grains, fruit and vegetables whenever you can
  • Find at least 2 serves of fruit per day
